The Yamaha 6.1 home theater system is another addition in the list of home theater systems for Yamaha. Here in this article, we would look at some of the features of Yamaha 6.1 home theater system and also its advantages and disadvantages.
Features:
1. It has got a six channel amplifier with equal power of eighty watts to all its channels. There is a separate line for the external subwoofer.
2. It has a dolby digital of 5.1/6.1 with Pro-Logic II, DTS 5.1/ DTS ES 6.1 matrix/ Discrete, Neo:6, Cinema DSP. It also has a surround headphone system for silent viewing.
3. It has a 96Khz/24bit D/A converter and a bass extension. It also has analogical, optical, coaxial digital inputs or outputs, a digital optical and analog front inputs.
4. For the SACD and DVD-Audio, there are six channel analog audio inputs.
5. It also has features like RCA, S-video and component switching of the video with monitor outputs.
6. For accuracy in loud speaker set ups, it has a built-in test tone generator.
7. It has got a FM and AM tuner for all the music lovers and who just love to hang around with their radios.
8. It has got onscreen display and universal learning remote for set ups and adjusting purposes.
The following are some of the negatives and positives of the Yamaha 6.1 home theater system:
1. Yamaha 6.1 home theater system has got a very powerful six channel amplifier which ensures smooth and clear sound quality.
2. All the important features like Dolby digital, DTS and Dolby prologic are available with Yamaha 6.1 home theater system.
3. The analog digital AV inputs and outputs complement each other very well and functions together smoothly.
4. The remote with it is somewhat confusing and complicated. There are a bit too many keys on the remote and a first time user will take a lot of time to understand and get used to the functioning of the remote.
5. The procedures involved in setting up takes some time. There is a lot of wiring involved and it would take some one used to those wires to set the whole system through quickly.
6. The front panel is pretty plain looking and there is nothing trendy about it.
7. Yamaha 6.1 home theater system is pretty much cheaper for its price. The price by no way justifies the kind of features and quality it provide in almost all the aspects. If we go and have a look at other brand home theater systems with the same features and qualities, it would definitely be much more expensive and will end up digging a hole in our pockets. It is a wonderful buy and it will not get any better than this. All those people who do not have much knowledge about home theater systems can go for this with their eyes closed.

The subwoofer sound of bass is becoming more and more popular everyday. With music being so deep into our human culture, the system components of music will be popular pretty much no matter what.

Gaining bass out of a car audio system is literally an art in itself. There are a couple of different things that can be done to really make a subwoofer sound system a lot louder.

1. The correct pressure differences between the speaker fronts and backs.

A lot of people install new speakers in a vehicle but don’t have the correct pressure differences. When a speaker doesn’t have the correct pressure differences, it pretty much kills the quality of sound going through it. Same goes for subwoofers except that the sound quality is magnified by a lot more. There is a reason subwoofers are called loudspeakers.

2. Amount of cubic space in the enclosures.

For subwoofers, the amount of cubic space the box has inside of it is pretty much everything. If your suffocating the subwoofer with not enough space for it to work with, it will kill the sound quality like no other. By looking up the specifications for each subwoofer, you can find what you need to work with.

3. Type of enclosure.

The different types of enclosures out there can really change the sound levels in an environment. Vented boxes are to of said “twice the loudness” as sealed boxes now, but I’m not totally sure I believe that. Bandpass boxes are also very loud in different situations. It just all depends on what your environment is.

As you have found out, there are tons of variables that can really change the sound levels in an environment. If your looking to achieve louder levels of bass, do your homework and put in some dedicated work and you will see it all pay off.
