Learn "Cabinet Building" ABSOLUTE Basics

From kitchen cabinet to dresser to vanity to TV cabinet, basic cabinet building construction is always the same. Any cabinet is composed of a box or case who has two sides, a base and a top, in addition to a back and a front. You might want to build some drawers, doors or shelves or a combination of the three. A range of variants can be chosen depending on your project.

There are actually three types of cabinet building:
The box or case cabinet building is the primary layout of kitchen cabinets, vanities, chests, dressers, and buffets.
The frame-and-panel structure is used to create the element parts of various types of wood furniture which includes the sides, the doors and the interior frames with dust panels (thus preventing the dust falling down into the drawer below). You will see those dust panels installations on quite a few first-class, hand-built pieces of furniture.

The leg-and-rail structure is observed on tables, chairs, some type of chests, benches, and stools.
