More Than 17.000 Islands In Indonesia

Indonesia is the largest archipelago and the largest in the world with over 17,000 islands. Travel in Indonesia on a tight schedule, or affected by the delay, it would have to take the packages or escorted tours. Flexible visitors to travel independently outside the tourist areas will realize that they can survive with very little shopping, but accommodation is basic transportation and slow.

If you can stay longer in Indonesia, consider extending the stay in Bali a week or add one week on the island of Ambon and Sulawesi. Another option would be from 3 to 5 days in Bali, a trip to Surabaya by bus (or van) and the ferry, take a train to Yogyakarta (all day trip) and spent several days there before s ‘fly to Denpasar and Jakarta for your departure. Other options include a trip to Komodo Island, a trip of two or three days east of the main island of Papua, to see the birds and the forest and tried to dive the incredible, a four-day trip to Borneo to visit the orang-utan or a few days of visits in a single volcanoes. Most tourists see only the larger islands and the landscape and leave satisfied. But if you have lots of time and patience, you can visit hundreds of other islands. Most can be seen by an anthropologist who has devoted ornithologists long term or the adventurer traveling the world.
